The Horror

I got rid of some of my penny stocks earlier this year, lost about $2,500. They were down ~75% since I bought them. It really doesn’t take much for a penny stock to drop 75% 🙂

Just looked at the stocks I sold. What a horrific picture: one of them is down to 2 cents (I got out at $0.04), the other is at 5.5 cents (out at $0.16), and the third one is 14 cents (out at $0.275 and $0.22).

I have 3 more juniors and I’m seriously tempted to sell one more. However, they are my lottery tickets. Only one in 200 works out, but if they do – they’ll be really big. (Haven’t you heard that before?)

I feel a bit like a bank, because I’m showing profit, but I have all these unrealized losses 🙂 (a lotttt!)

The profit is purely from trading. I started trading last spring (2007) and since then the only profit I made was on trading. All my investments are a joke…

I take comfort in knowing that had I made sensible investments last year, I’d still be down a lot.

Anyway, I had to make some mistakes to learn. It’s my tuition.
