Hello Jacobius Maximus,
I'm not mocking anything, that was a quote as indicated by large quotation marks.

I do doubt the Moon landing (at least in the 60s), though, and not for religious reasons.

The "foil" you mock isn't made to look pretty, it is meant for insulation. This very same "foil" is on many, if not all satellites (if you've made a phone call recently, or ever seen a hubble photograph, you've benefited from the stuff). If something in this picture was damming evidence, do you really think NASA would provide us a high res. picture? Duh! The whole bottom half of the craft didn't NEED to survive re-entry, it's still sitting on the moon. Only the top part returned to earth. Scientists at universities & labs Around the World, have been studying the isotope ratios & other details of the moon rocks for DECADES! And mirror reflectors left behind, allowed lasers from earth to reflect back, and record the always changing distance between moon & earth exactly. The mirrors are STILL there.
Conspiracy "theorist's" could leave their fairy tales behind.
Religious folks should grow beyond their fables.
The reality & truth that surrounds us, that we're a part of is SO much more amazing, beautiful, bizarre, and yes, spiritual.
