I add the stocks to an actual watchlist, sometimes I use Yahoo (http://finance.yahoo.com/q/cq?d=v1&s=mcd+ing+hon+wtw+mmm), other times - Stockhouse.ca.

Then depending on their behavior during the day (trend, volume, relative to the market, relative to the other contenders on the watch list), I either buy or not.

When I had play cash on hand and attempted to daytrade, I preferred TA, obviously. Now that my money is locked up in a bunch of stocks 'cause I'm not willing to sell them for a loss... I'm an investor :) and I'm glad that, I think, fundamentally all of my picks are good with the exception of 2.

I hope to arrive at my ideal asset allocation through experience. I plan to free up some of this locked money in the next few months (unless the market totally tanks, that is) and then look into diversifying away from the mining juniors. I've already started looking into large caps, some with dividends.

Forex: I'm too chicken to deal with it. My fear stems from complete lack of knowledge of currencies.

Thanks for stopping by :)

How do you 'watch' stocks?
Do you prefer the fundamental analysis or the technical?
What do you think about forex market and the 'carry trading'?
What about asset portfolio management, not single and 'short' trading movements?
