Nice pics!
I see it was big fun for you ๐
Welcome back! Hope the trip was as fun as the pictures are beautiful. As an American I can’t legally go there – was tempted when I was living in Canada, but never pulled the trigger; very jealous. Did you at least bring back some good smokes?
BTW, looks like you’re back in time for a possible melt up in the market.
R.,
it wasn’t perfect (too cold most of the time) but yes – it was fun!! Lots of memories ๐
TSS,
I’m short going into next week! (though hedged somewhat)
Of course, brought back Havana Club rum and cigars. Tonight had yet another tasting session ๐
Kat,
Silly question possibly…do they have internet & broadband in Cuba?
Can you get by in English?

Hi Duc,
not silly at all. I was told high-speed isn’t available in all of Cuba. This resort only had dial-up internet. Torturously slow.
If you stay within the resort, yes – English is sufficient. I found that outside the resort most people don’t speak even a word of English, but this was a fairly remote rural location.
Hadn’t visited Havana, can’t tell you if that’s the case in the city as well.
glad you are back, terrific photos. Can’t wait to use one as a banner for my blog (just kidding).
Hi Headline!
Good to see you still check in ๐
Which photo did you want to steal? ๐ I realize the warning is a bit paranoid, but when you make a living from images it’s a standard precaution.
