Time and New Habits
I was putting my earrings on this morning and thought that I spend almost a minute on it, or at least 30 seconds. I do it every day, which means the task takes up 182.5 minutes or roughly 3 hours per year.
Strange to realize that something so mundane takes so much time.
Quick point in all of this — if there’s a new habit you want to acquire, or an old one you want to kick, just a few minutes a day spent on the task can really add up over time. Slow and steady wins the race
I’m forever “going to start meditating”. Years, I’ve been meaning to do it for years! Am I really that busy that I can’t set aside 5 minutes to do it?
