Average Closing Prices / NYSE Daily Dollar Volume

I’m now keeping track of average closing prices. Here’s the Price/Dollar Volume overlay since Aug 21st ($ volume is magenta, as above).

Volume surged before the drop started, and that, by the way, was the day with some extreme selling on strength across the board.
