    Actually, I went right from retirement into a second career as a teacher. Now I need more sleep than ever.

    In any case, must be fun. I know kids are more obnoxious now, but I still find that being surrounded by younger people lifts my spirits. Suck that youthful energy out of them! :D

    No, my first career was as an engineer. That’s how I can afford to be a teacher now. I teach math remediation to at-risk 8-10 year olds.

    Sometimes. But mostly at risk of failing their end-of-grade tests for graduation.
